The individual in this position answers and routes incoming call, takes thorough messages, provides basic information to callers, greets customers as they enter the dealership, and maintains a courteous and professional manner and appearance.
Responsibilities for this career opportunity include :
- Operates a multi-line phone system, including answering all incoming calls, transferring callers to the appropriate person or department, and utilizing the paging system when needed.
- Develops knowledge of basic dealership information to respond to callers who have general inquiries.
- Greets customers upon arrival and ensures they are assisted quickly.
- Updates and distributes dealership phone directory as needed.
- Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Always maintains a neat work area.
- Performs administrative duties as assigned.
