Modern Family Law, a rapidly expanding national law firm specializing in Family Law, is seeking a Senior Associate Attorney to join our Seattle Office. This is a remote position, but candidates must reside in Washington to attend hearings or meet with clients in-office when necessary.

$140,000 annually $79,000 in expected billing bonuses.
To be successful in this role, the incumbent would be expected to:
ADA Compliance: All candidates and incumbents are expected to perform the duties as assigned so long as they can meet the expectations set forth with or without reasonable accommodations. Compensation: $140,000 annually $79,000 in expected billing bonuses. The salary range is a reliable estimate of the base salary plus projected bonuses. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, billable hour expectations, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

To be successful in this role, the incumbent would be expected to:
- Handle a variety of family law cases, including divorce, custody, child and spousal support, and property division.
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations as required.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with clients regarding case progress.
- Work in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with paralegals and fellow attorneys.
- Stay updated on legal developments and best practices in family law.
- Manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
- Four (4) or more years of experience in Family Law.
- Active admission to the Washington State Bar and in good standing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional legal drafting abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with a client-focused mindset.
- Litigation experience preferred, but we welcome candidates from other practice areas who are interested in transitioning into Family Law.
- Strong references attesting to legal expertise and professionalism.
- Ability to communicate professionally and interact effectively with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel.
- Proven ability to handle complex family law matters independently.
- Strong negotiation and mediation skills to advocate for clients.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage casework efficiently.
- High attention to detail, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed for case deadlines.
