JOB OVERVIEW:
Our Furnace Technicians are responsible for hardening metals through heat treating in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. We will provide the standards and guidelines, while working with you to ensure heat treated materials meet our customers expectations.
This is a stable full-time job with onsite training, career growth/development, and extensive educational opportunities.
Basic Responsibilities:
- Load and unload baskets, containers and furnaces, preparing loads for heat treat and customer product for shipment
- Maintain orderly storage of fixtures, product and material handling equipment
- Start, operate and shut down furnaces and other equipment
- "Earn as you Learn" more about heat treat operations and furnace load makeup
- Learn the Science of metals!
