Modern Legal PC is a civil litigation firm, focusing on real estate and business law, with an opening for a full-time Law Firm Receptionist. The Firm is seeking a detail-oriented and organized candidate to join our team in creating a professional, compassionate, and welcoming environment and to ensure efficient daily operations while assisting the attorney and staff.
The position will route calls using the Firm’s multi-line digital phone system, greet clients and visitors, assist with document and mail processing, assist with managing electronic and paper case files, maintain the reception and conference areas, maintain the Firm’s consultation calendar, assist with opening and closing the office, enter information into the Firm’s practice management software, and provide general support to the attorney and staff as needed/directed.
The position is in-office, full-time Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The hourly wage for the position is $17.00 - $19.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. The position also includes paid holidays, paid time off, possible opportunities for advancement, and medical, dental, and vision insurance.
Qualifications: A qualified candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving skills, the ability to multi-task, the ability to follow specific instructions, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and be well-organized. Additionally, the Firm seeks a candidate that is:

- Fluent in Spanish, both written and verbal.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook specifically.

- Experienced with Clio Manage and Clio Grow, preferably, but not required.
Job Duties and Responsibilities: The position will be expected to:
- Greet clients and other members of the public with a welcoming and professional demeanor.
- Maintain an orderly and presentable office environment, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Ensure the reception, conference areas, and offices are organized, stocked, and prepared for consultations, client meetings, mediations, and other meetings.
- Promptly scan, file, fax, mail, and process incoming and outgoing mail and other documents.
- File, copy, index, and prepare documents for attorney review
- Adhere to strict confidentiality requirements.
- Schedule appointments and meetings.
- Professionally and accurately answer/route calls.
- Manage appointment/consultation calendar and onboarding pipeline with precision and efficiency.
- Correspond professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties.
- Collect payments, issue receipts, and update files accordingly.
- Maintain, update, and organize Client files.
- Identify and complete tasks that need to be done without being instructed to do so and without supervision.
- Execute time management skills, manage one’s own task list, and take the initiative in task completion.
- Assist staff members and attorney as needed.
