Job Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain inkjet and tabber machines to address and prepare mail pieces for distribution.
- Ensure proper setup and alignment of equipment for each job, including adjusting inkjet heads and tabbing positions.
- Monitor print quality and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Load and unload materials such as envelopes, postcards, and self-mailers.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines to minimize downtime.
- Verify job specifications, including postal regulations and addressing accuracy.
- Work closely with the mailroom and production teams to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating inkjet or tabber machines in a mailroom or printing environment preferred, will train as necessary.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
