Position Overview: The Wide Format Product Specialist will play a crucial role in providing expert knowledge on wide format printing products and services to both internal teams and clients. This individual will be responsible for supporting the sales team, advising clients on the best solutions for their printing needs, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of the products we deliver. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of wide format printing technologies and materials and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert for wide format printing products, technologies, and materials, ensuring that both internal teams and clients are informed about the latest offerings and best practices in wide format printing.
• Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical guidance, assist with product recommendations, and develop tailored solutions for clients. Support the sales process by creating product specifications, pricing, and offering expert insights.
• Client Consultations: Work directly with clients to assess their needs and provide expert advice. Help clients with selecting materials, and solutions based on their unique requirements.
• Product Training: Conduct training sessions for internal staff (sales, production, and customer service teams) on wide format printing products, processes, and equipment to ensure everyone has a clear understanding of product capabilities.
• Vendor Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to stay updated on the latest developments in wide format printing technology, materials, and techniques.
• Quality Control: Ensure that the products being produced meet the highest quality standards, collaborating with production teams to resolve any technical issues related to wide format printing.
• Market Research: Stay up to date on industry trends, new technologies, and customer demands within the wide format printing space. Provide recommendations on potential new products and services to expand the company's offerings.
• Customer Support: Address any product-related questions or concerns from clients and internal teams, offering solutions that ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
• Documentation: Assist in creating technical documentation, product sheets, and marketing materials to support sales and product offerings.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in the wide format printing industry, with a strong technical background in wide format printing equipment, materials, and techniques.
• Deep understanding of wide format printing products and solutions such as banners, signage, vehicle wraps, wall graphics, trade show displays, and more.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, easy-to-understand information for clients and colleagues.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in customer-facing roles, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
• Proficiency with wide format printing software and tools, as well as familiarity with various printing technologies (e.g., UV printing, solvent printing, dye-sublimation).
• Knowledge of materials used in wide format printing, such as vinyl, fabric, and various substrates.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• A background in sales support or product management is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
