Modern Luxury is seeking a Sales Account Executive for the Palm Beach market. The Account Executive must have strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills. The candidate must be a team player and be able to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Manages sales activities and overall direction of publication by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Review market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates and develop sales campaigns to accommodate the goals assigned to you.
- Represents publishing company at professional meetings.
- Coordinates liaison between sales and other departments.
- Analyzes and controls division expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.
- Prepares periodic sales reports showing sales volume and potential sales.
- Directs preparation of special promotional features.
- Maintain relationships with key accounts
- Attend networking functions, seminars and special events

MINIMUM COMPETENCIES
Education
Bachelor’s degree; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
