What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pallet Sorter/Truck Wash position at Modern Maintenance, Inc.?
Modern Maintenance, Inc. is hiring for outside pallet work and truck washing.
Wage: $18/hr. Sign-On Bonus after 120 days of employment
Shift: Monday-Friday
9:00AM-5:30PM (Truck Wash)
5:30PM-9:30PM (Truck Wash)
3:30PM - 12:00AM (Pallets)
6:00PM-10:00PM (Pallets)
Responsibilities: Pallets
- Work outside in all weather conditions
- Clean out trailers
- Remove and stack pallets for forklift removal
- Clean debris along fence line
- Other job duties as needed
Responsibilities: Truck Wash
- Drive trucks to wash station as needed
- Wipe down and sanitize hi-touch areas inside of truck
- Hose down and scrub outside with soap and water
- Other job duties as needed
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 80 pounds
- Must be able to stand/walk for the entirety of the shift
- Must be able to climb in and out of trailers
- Required to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance roles, particularly in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning of trailers and pallets.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and handling cleaning chemicals.
- Good physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects as needed.
