Part Time nanny needed in Briarcliff

Seeking a part-time nanny for a loving family of four in Briarcliff to care for their 4-year-old and 2-year-old. This long-term position involves preparing dinner for the whole family, driving, and daycare pickups. The nanny will be responsible for picking up the children from daycare at 4:30 PM and engaging them in activities such as playing, reading, or crafts while preparing dinner. Dinner is served between 5:45–6:00 PM, and the family is looking for someone with the patience to manage mealtimes, which can be challenging with the kids. The role also includes creating a warm and engaging atmosphere where children can assist with simple tasks during meal preparation.

After dinner, the nanny ensures meal areas are clean and organized, helps prepare for the next school day by organizing the children’s belongings, and provides parents with a brief update on the day, including highlights, progress, or any important notes.

They are looking for someone who is warm, efficient, and can work with them as a team and become a part of their family. The position is located in Briarcliff and begins as soon as the family finds a great fit.

The nanny should have a clean driving record, as driving for daycare pick-up is required.

Position Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional childcare experience.

• Age Group Experience: Experience with toddlers and preschool-aged children.
• Activity Planning: Ability to plan and engage in developmentally appropriate activities.
• Housekeeping: Willingness to perform light housekeeping related to the children.
• Non-Smoker: Must be a non-smoker.
• Transportation: Reliable transportation.
• Flexibility: Availability for occasional weekends.
