Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Modern Psych and Wellness is seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing mental health clinic. Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with mental health disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, including prescribing and managing psychiatric medications.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
• Provide follow-up care and medication management to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication use.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with clinic policies and state regulations.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) licensed to practice in Michigan.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting preferred.
• Expertise in psychiatric medication management and mental health care for patients with complex needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team.
