POSITION: Receptionist/ Injector's Assistant

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting the nurse practitioner with patient care including maintaining proper documentation, client consent forms, and photos for medical charts. Other responsibilities include patient education on treatment plans, medication, and managing member benefit accounts such as Alle and Aspire rewards.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma; college degree preferred.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Medical charting and client account management.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to work as a team member.

Well-organized with attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Empathetic with patient needs and concerns.

Ability to work well with physicians, anticipating their needs in regard to patient treatment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Primary Duties

• Escorts patients to exam rooms in order of appointment times. Obtains or updates medication list if necessary. Sets up exam room according to scheduled procedure or anticipate NPs needs if non-scheduled procedure is likely.
• Educates patients as required after the NP establishes the treatment plan. Ensures that the patient understands the treatment plan, understands the proper use of their medications, and understands their responsibility for compliance with the treatment plan prior to leaving the office.
• Straightens and cleans exam rooms after each patient.

2. Secondary Duties

• Stock all exam rooms and monitor working inventory each day.
• Performs all duties related to medical instrument cleaning and sterilization.
• Notifies clinical staff of supplies needed to avoid shortages.
• Performs other duties and tasks as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
