What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Counter Clerk position at Modern Subaru of Boone LLC?
Modern Subaru is currently seeking an experienced Parts Counterperson to join the team of talented parts professionals in our Boone dealership. Responsibilities include:
- Assist all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
- Inform customers of companion part requirements and specials and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
- Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
- Review body shop estimates to be sure the parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate.
- Provide a high level of service to internal and external customers.
- Pull and fill orders from stock.
Qualifications and Skills
- 2 years’ experience as an Automotive Parts Counterperson
- Experience with Parts Trader, OPStrax, OEconnection, CCCtrueparts preferred.
- Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to effectively multi-task during peak demands
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
