ResponsibilitiesThis individual will be a mid-level analyst / coder to perform data analysis and develop new data analysis tools in support of customer EO / IR Programs. Tasks and responsibilities : Perform data analysis using government generated tools. Develop code to improve upon the analysis tools and create new tools and code where appropriateExhibit a willingness to learn new subject matter, adapt approaches on a regular basis, and coordinate with a fast-paced, dynamic team of engineers and military personnelWork well in a team environment as well as independently QualificationsRequired ExperienceMinimum of 2 years of experience with code development; should be familiar with selecting and using efficient methods, classes, and data structuresMinimum of 2 years of experience with writing code for scientific / engineering analysis applicationsMust have familiarity with code version control tools, such as Git or BitbucketMust have a robust, working understanding of first principles in the following fields : linear regression, discrete math, continuous functions, and Fourier analysis The ideal candidate is : A code developer who validated code on real scientific / engineering datasets ORAn engineer / scientist (or principal investigator) who developed robust code in support of their research or analysis projectDesired Skills / CredentialsExperience with object-oriented programmingExperience with principles of computer vision, mode decomposition and reduced order models, classifier models, digital signal processing, linear and Gaussian process models, information theory, stochastic system analysis EducationBachelor's degree in physics, applied mathematics, or engineering (aero, mech, CS / CE, EE)Master's degree in one of those fields is highly desired Clearance Requirements : Active TS clearance is required for consideration Travel Requirements : Occassional travel may be required U.S. Citizenship is required #LI-RR1#MTSIjobs#mtsi#LI-Onsite
