At Modern Technology Solutions, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Requirements Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of requirements engineering principles and lifecycle management.
The successful Requirements Engineer will be responsible for updating, maintaining, and managing the MDA/BC requirements database using requirements management tools (e.g. IBM DOORS). Ensuring requirements traceability across various levels of requirements decomposition is crucial in this role.
In addition, the Requirements Engineer will utilize IBM DOORS eXtension Language (DXL) to develop scripts for automation, reporting, and data analysis. Proper structuring of requirements, version control, and data integrity within IBM DOORS are also essential responsibilities.
The selected candidate will collaborate with engineers, program managers, and key stakeholders to integrate IBM DOORS with other tools (e.g., IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management, JIRA, MATLAB, etc.). Providing user support, troubleshooting, and training to MDA/BC personnel on IBM DOORS usage and best practices is also expected.
This position requires a Bachelor's degree and 7 years of experience. Active Secret clearance is mandatory. Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) standards and integration tools and methodologies for connecting IBM DOORS with other tools is desired.
