Responsibilities
The Senior Aviation Analyst will analyze engineering documentation, metrics, statistics and procedures
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
- Recommends program and process improvements
- Reviews and edits O&M Documents - Plans, Reports, and Studies
- Assesses O&M Metrics
- Tracks and assesses progress of weapon system’s O&M program and Product Support portfolio
- Reviews and assists in the development of documentation related to the procurement of aircraft spares, support equipment, and technical data
- Tracks contract delivery of spares, support equipment, and technical data
- Assists in collection of operational data for use in measuring aircraft availability
- Assess O&M metrics to include MTBF, Mission Availability, and System Reliability
- Assists in activities related to the fielding and sustainment of operational capabilities
- Coordinates with engineering to integrate supportability requirements into development and sustainment efforts
- Works with Government and Contractor personnel in the execution of program activities
- Assists in the implementation of Aircraft Structural Integrity Programs and Engine Structural Integrity Programs
Qualifications
Qualified Candidates Will Have:
- Extensive (10 plus years) experience with aircraft operations, support, and maintenance activities including experience with airbase operations is required.
- Knowledge and experience with MIL-STD-1530B, Aircraft Structural Integrity Programs and MIL-STD-1783B Engine Structural Integrity Programs is required.
- Previous management or supervisory experience
- Recent experience developing requirements for aircraft spares, and O&M metrics is desired.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required, extensive training in related areas and additional work experience may be substituted for degree. Master’s Degree desired
Clearance requirement: Top Secret with SCI (TS/SCI)

Salary : $10,000
