Job Description:
The Senior Systems Architect will be responsible for providing technical expertise in missile defense activities, ensuring the adequacy of missile defense systems against evolving threats. This role involves evaluating missile defense system architectures, defining performance metrics, and recommending strategic improvements while collaborating with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate the adequacy of the current Missile Defense System (MDS) to include ballistic, hypersonic, and cruise missile defensive architecture to counter the threat and recommend courses of action for concept of operations, system improvements, and identify alternate strategies for affordable, cost-effective, and technically advanced systems.
- Define and evaluate MDS trade capability space envelope, architectural performance metrics, and other high-level performance metrics as applicable.
- Master's degree in a STEM field.
- Minimum of 12 years working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD programs/projects.
- Active Secret clearance.
- Missile Defense experience.
- Ability to successfully accomplish the duties by working with minimal guidance.
