JOB TITLE : ESTIMATOR II - COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION
REPORTS TO : CONTROLS DEPARTMENT MANAGER
JOB DUTIES / GENERAL REQUIREMENTS :
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare estimates for potential projects.
- Read and understand contract documents (plans, specifications & addenda).
- Perform quantity take-offs, organize and price information.
- Establish relationships and communicate with suppliers to clarify pricing information.
- Assist with the preparation of bid proposals for submittal.
- Maintain complete and accurate project records.
- Assist staff members with special projects related to estimating or project management.
- Perform job walks
- Gather estimated project information and transfer through project kickoff meeting to production personnel.
- Write proposal for estimated projects
- Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications
THIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION.
Pay Range : $65,000 - $85,000 per year
Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
