Akkodis is seeking an Agile Coach for a contract position with our Fortune 500 banking client.
Rate: $80-84.50/hr W2. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Location: 3 days onsite in Charlotte, NC
Position Summary:
- Responsible for enabling teams, up to an entire Agile Release Train, to learn, implement, and mature Lean-Agile principles and practices.
- Trains and coaches teams on Agile and modern engineering practices.
- Empowers teams to become self-managing, fulfill their cross-functional potential, and have an attitude of relentless improvement.
- Guides and supports the transformation to Lean-Agile and educates leaders on the mindset. Performs hands-on training/coaching to teams in all aspects of Lean-Agile.
- Coaches lead roles and teams to embrace a Lean-Agile and learning mindset.
- Provides guidance about how to create and manage and intake process, healthy backlog, and how to facilitate valuable Agile ceremonies.
- Helps align teams to Enterprise Agile standards and practices, and coaches team members through change.
- Facilitates discussions, decision making processes, and conflict resolution within and across teams.
- Helps to identify and resolve organizational impediments that impact team maturity and performance.
- Provides feedback to management regarding the progress of Agile adoption within their teams.
- Helps form and sustain the DMT Agile Center of Excellence.
- Drives maturity and guide 1 existing Release Train
- Support successful implementation of PI Plannings with 10 Agile Teams
- Scale up one additional Release Train by mid-2023
- Transforming 15 new Agile teams - by Q3 2023
- Facilitate meetings across both Onshore and Offshore teams and time zones
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of Agile Coaching experience or Release Train Engineer experience
- 5 years of experience working with Agile teams (both Scrum and Kanban)
- Ability to set up new agile teams and guide them through their forming journey
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Experience in developing a transformation stagey for multiple trains and drive the execution of maturity milestones and goals
- Scaled Agile Certified: SAFe Agilist/ RTE/ SPC
Preferred Skills:
- Bank experience
- Continuous Improvement Survey creation and execution on Agile Maturity
