Basic Functions and Scope of Job: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment. You will also play a key part in managing invoicing, procurement, budgeting, and assisting with monthly financial reporting and audits.
Key Accountabilities
· Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries and reconciliations.
· Review and prepare general ledger and subsidiary ledger transactions to ensure accuracy and proper accounting treatment.
· Track capital expenditures and assist with maintaining the asset register, ensuring plant assets are reviewed annually.
· Manage invoicing processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
· Assist with the procurement process, including creating and tracking purchase orders.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
· Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with audits as needed.
· Communicate regularly with teams in sales, purchasing, logistics, and other departments to foster a solution-driven environment.
· Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and company policies.
· Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and maintain accuracy.
· Other duties as assigned

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
· Proven experience with financial reporting, compliance, and general accounting functions.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
· Proficiency with accounting software, MS Excel, and SAP/ERP systems.
· Strong understanding of journal entries, accounts payable, invoicing, and procurement processes.
· High attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
