About The Role

Modular is excited to be hiring a People Team Coordinator to support our growing operations, recruiting and programs teams for a healthy, engaged workforce. We are small and agile, working to build a suite of programs and resources designed to help our people thrive at work. This position will work with everyone across the People (HR) department to support everything from pre-boarding to offboarding as well as benefits HRIS management and reporting. An ideal candidate will have quick problem-solving instincts, is detail-oriented, and enjoys being the first point-of-contact to candidates and employees throughout their journey.

LOCATION: Candidates based in the San Francisco Bay Area are welcome to apply. This is a hybrid role, requiring 2-3 days onsite at our Los Altos, CA office.

What You Will Do

• Serve as a first point of contact for HR-related issues by managing our HR ticketing system to resolve inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
• Own the administrative execution of critical employee lifecycle programs, including reporting, communication, and coordination for discrete employment deliverables
• Drive onboarding, benefits administration, offboarding, and other people processes and policies
• Provide support scheduling candidate interviews for our Talent Acquisition team
• Work across the People team to provide ad-hoc administrative support for team initiatives based on the People team’s priorities and objectives.
• Actively operate with empathy, openness, and discretion as a team player in every way
  
  

What You Bring To The Table

• You are someone who finds joy in supporting others’ success
• At least one year of work experience in an HR-related role
• Direct experience working with Rippling, or other HRIS, to maintain employee data for compliance, reporting, and policy alignment
• Resourcefulness and responsibility for good judgement and discretion with sensitive information at all times
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on detail-oriented outcomes
• Excellent communication organizational and time management skills
• Experience with Google Suite, Notion, Zoom, Slack preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in our Los Altos office 2-3 days per week
• Willingness to travel 1-2x per year for company events

The estimated base salary range for this role is $99,000.00 - 121,000.00 USD.

The salary for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of permissible, non-discriminatory job-related factors, which include but are not limited to education, training, work experience, business needs, or market demands. This range may be modified in the future. The total compensation for a candidate will also include annual target bonus, equity, and benefits, with equity making up a significant portion of your total compensation.
