Job Overview
MTEK is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our manufacturing facility by ensuring that all incoming orders are accurately received, processed, and stored. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Duties
- Receive and inspect all incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, ensuring all items match purchase orders.
- Load and unload products from delivery trucks using forklifts and manual handling techniques.
- Document the receipt of goods and update inventory records in real-time.
- Stack/Organize and stock items in designated locations within the warehouse, maintaining an orderly environment.
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure timely receipt of orders and efficient workflow.
- Report shortages in inventory
- Look for missing parts
- Document stock movements and changes in materials
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems software is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
- Experience with order shipping, and receiving processes.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and communicate with manager effectively

- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Dependable and reliable, good time management skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Able to work in a face-paced manufacturing environment
