Job Description:
As an Hourly Manager at Moe’s Southwest Grill, you will assist the General Manager in running the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. Your role is crucial in ensuring a smooth, efficient, and enjoyable experience for our guests and team members. You’ll be responsible for leading by example, managing staff, and upholding our brand’s standards. This is an hourly position plus tips
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and ensuring all areas are clean and organized.
- Team Management: Supervise and motivate team members, provide training, conduct performance evaluations, and foster a positive work environment.
- Customer Service: Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high service standards, addressing customer concerns promptly, and implementing feedback to improve service.
- Financial Management: Assist in managing restaurant financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and handling cash deposits and financial reports.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, and maintain a safe work environment for both staff and guests.
- Marketing & Promotion: Support local marketing initiatives and promotions to drive sales and attract new customers.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a restaurant management or supervisory role preferred. Experience in fast-casual dining is a plus.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of managing and motivating a team.
- Customer Focus: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to handle challenging situations and solve problems efficiently and effectively.
- Flexibility: Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field is a plus.
