Job Description
The Associate Product Manager for our Moen brand will be responsible for being a product expert and developing a comprehensive understanding of consumer and customer needs. The Associate Product Manger will be responsible for the full product lifecycle and will work to develop, manage and maintain our product portfolio. The Associate Product Manager will work to continuously improve products and new product development.
Location: This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based out of Deerfield, IL. Effective mid-2025, Fortune Brands will transition to a new world-class campus in Deerfield, bringing together associates from across our U.S. offices, brands, and functions. The campus will offer vibrant workspaces for collaboration, along with amenities for dining, onsite daycare, fitness, and recreation.
Travel Requirements: up to 15% travel to customer locations
What You Will Be Doing
Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $70,000 USD - $100,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.

Job Description

What You Will Be Doing
- Provide critical input to situational analysis for assigned product portfolio as part of the annual strategic planning process.
- Develop and execute on 3-year product plan conducting ongoing analysis to align timing and resources.
- With approval from the Group Product Manager, provide pricing for assigned product portfolio driving revenue and margin contribution to achieve P&L objectives.
- Lead cross-functional product development teams and provide marketing leadership at tollgates.
- Partner with Innovation on the definition and scoping of projects. Ensure alignment with brand and SBU objectives.
- Develop and conduct research with key customer base to gain market insight on design, functionality, and configuration.
- Partner with Global Brand Marketing to ensure alignment of product with brand plan.
- Create and maintain market landscapes that inform the product roadmap of gaps and opportunities with pricing, technology, functionality, and offering.
- Partner with cross-functional product development teams (project management, engineering, supply chain, sourcing, and sales) on product plan execution.
- Partner with channel marketing to establish Go to Market strategies and plans to achieve P&L objectives.
- Partner with Marketing Services/Digital to develop 2D, 3D and digital product collateral.
- Provide direction on value proposition, price, margin and supply for new product development.
- Develop and deliver product training content to customer service, sales team, and customers.
- Provide price book, spec sheet, website, and e-commerce support to ensure accuracy of messaging, pricing, and images.
- 3 years of product management experience (consumer / durable goods experience preferred)
- Strong analytical skills, including ability to arrive at insights from analytical data, is essential for market and competitive evaluation, pricing and line management.
- Demonstrated ability to be a team player with skills to lead/participate in cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Proficient computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to travel approximately 15%
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field strongly preferred
