- SALARY : $17.68 - $27.40 - Aide's Salary Schedule, dependent upon experience.
Education and / or Experience : Minimum of 49 College Semester Hr. preferred or have passed the WorkKeys Assessment Skills Test (offered at the Craig Workforce Center)
Data collection skills, ability to follow direction, flexible, positive, works well with kids and a team, professional.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Under the guidance and direction of the classroom teacher and / or special education teacher the paraprofessional might perform one or more of the following.

Language Skills : Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in a one-on-one and small groups situation to students, staff, parents and administrators.
Mathematical Skills : Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability : Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Other Skills and Abilities : Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, peers, parents and community; ability to speak clear and concisely in written or oral communication.
