Role Description
Full-time attorney with 1-5 years of experience in insurance defense litigation, primarily in the areas of No-Fault first-party PIP, automotive negligence and bodily injury. The attorney will be responsible for preparing and drafting written discovery, conducting legal research, drafting motions, attending court hearings, and other day-to-day tasks associated with the role.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and member of the Michigan Bar Association
- Experience in insurance defense litigation
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in negotiation and dispute resolution
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work full-time (Remote -hybrid- option available)
Other qualifications that would be beneficial include experience in premises liability defense, construction defect defense, as well as experience with insurance coverage issues and appellate practice
