Summary
Position Highlights :
The Tobacco Treatment Specialist ("TTS") provides direct care to patients and education to patients and their families who currently use or have a history of tobacco use. The TTS oversees the development of the clinical plan for tobacco dependent patients to improve care, reduce the tobacco burden and provide consistency with tobacco treatment processes. The TTS also collaborates with interdisciplinary team members for program referrals and process improvement planning.

- Familiarity with principles of adult learning.

- Demonstrates advanced cognitive capabilities in the evaluation, diagnosis and planning of treatment for tobacco dependent patients.
- Ability to provide direction and support for the complex patient and their family to receive proper assistance.
