SENIOR ACCOUNTANT Overview:

Position Description:
As a Tax Senior, you will have hands-on experience in providing tax services to individuals and businesses. You will work on a variety of projects under the supervision of professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of individual tax returns
- Research fundamental tax issues using online tools
- Preparation of corporate (C and S), partnership and trust tax returns
- Preparation of tax depreciation schedules including proper classification of assets
- Preparation of property, payroll, sales and local business license tax returns
- Perform other essential duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail.
- Excellent oral, written, research, and technical skills.
- Willingness and excitement for learning new tax law and software usage.
- Excellent prioritization skills.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Accounting
- CPA certified or CPA exam eligible is highly desirable
- 3 years or more of recent experience in public accounting with a primary focus on tax return preparation and review
- Experience using CCH tax return preparation software is highly desirable
- Experience using QuickBooks accounting software is highly desirable
