Inside Sales Account Executive – EdTech Solutions
Location: Hybrid (Tempe, AZ or Austin, TX)
Type: In-office Tuesday–Thursday, remote Monday & Friday
A mission-driven EdTech company is seeking an Inside Sales Account Executive to manage both new business development and an assigned customer portfolio. You’ll build strong relationships with schools and districts, driving adoption of innovative digital learning solutions that make a difference in classrooms across the country.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop new school and district accounts and grow existing ones
- Conduct outbound sales via phone and email (minimum of 25 calls and 25 emails daily)
- Own the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing
- Customize outreach based on district initiatives, funding cycles, and performance trends
- Coordinate with Marketing on outbound campaigns and lead follow-up
- Manage your pipeline and activity within Salesforce
- Present solutions virtually using phone and web tools
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to shared sales goals
- Perform additional tasks as needed to support customer success
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in education, business, or related field or 3 years of B2B sales experience
- Teaching or administrative experience in K–12 education is highly preferred
- Experience with SaaS or software sales (especially in education) is a plus
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
- Comfort presenting over the phone or web
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with Salesforce and tools like Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
