Job Purpose -
The Electrical Engineer will support maintenance and operations at the client facility. This role focuses on ensuring safety, maintaining product flow, solving technical challenges, and identifying opportunities for process and equipment improvements. The engineer will also lead capital projects, major repairs, and maintenance initiatives while providing occasional process engineering support.

The engineer will also lead capital projects, major repairs, and maintenance initiatives while providing occasional process engineering support.
Roles And Responsibilities -
- Support safety initiatives and resolve technical challenges to restore product flow.
- Analyze equipment and process data to identify improvement opportunities and implement effective solutions.
- Provide technical expertise for recurring design and process issues.
- Develop, manage, and execute capital projects, as well as major repairs and maintenance efforts.
- Assist with process engineering tasks to optimize manufacturing operations.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain automation systems, including PLCs, AC/DC drives, and power distribution networks.
- Contribute to the commissioning and troubleshooting of networking and communication equipment.
- Provide technical guidance on rolling mills, metal process furnaces, casting equipment, and strip processing.
- Utilize data acquisition systems and analytics to enhance operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in the electrical engineering field.
- At least 1 year of experience with manufacturing processes and principles.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Experience with ladder logic programming and troubleshooting, specifically Rockwell and Allen Bradley PLCs.
- Proficiency in specifying, installing, and maintaining DC and AC motor drive systems.
- Knowledge of power distribution systems and automation communication networking.
- Background in the metals industry, particularly aluminum rolling or processing.
- Familiarity with data acquisition systems, analytics, and capital project management.
- Strong problem-solving, creative thinking, and communication skills.
