What You'll Do (Personnel Duties, Authority, and Responsibilities)

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other responsibilities and projects may be assigned for the overall benefit of the organization.

• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and other work areas in accordance with Company specifications.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or other related appliances.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners.
• Empty wastebaskets and dispose of trash and waste in designated areas.
• Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operations systems.
• Move heavy furniture equipment, or supplies manually.

• What You Bring (Qualifications)

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Ability to acquire and maintain a Facility Live Scan Card through the State.
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional janitorial experience or related experience is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Flexible scheduling with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Demonstrates ability to follow oral and written directions.

Exposure to environmental particles such as pollen and plant pathogens, fertilizer, dusts, odors, high heat, low temperature, high and low humidity, high noise levels, vibrations water, dry salts allergens, dust, other volatile organic compounds, and other environmental variables. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
