What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilitator, Community Education position at Mohave Community College?
Instruct non-traditional students in non-credit personal enrichment classes. Classes may be comprised of minor children or adults of every age group. Personal enrichment courses vary widely in topics, structure and number of hours of instruction.

Prepare classroom presentations and student assignments.
Keep records and prepare required reports consistent with college policy; submit in order to meet all reporting deadlines as prescribed by college policy and procedures.
Attend facilitator meetings as scheduled.
Learn and correctly apply college policies and procedures.
Carry out assigned responsibilities in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local statutes and the college's philosophies, policies, procedures, and regulations.

Adhere to class schedules and meet attendance standards.
Maintain confidentiality relating to student matters.Applications for the Community Facilitators Pool are accepted year-round. However, at times, recruitment for specific disciplines may be posted separately.
Applicants must be able to meet education and/or experience minimum qualifications in their field of interest.
It is the applicant's responsibility to provide the necessary documentation to support eligibility for the discipline(s) areas the applicant is interested in being considered.
Unless there is a specific and urgent need, Mohave Community College will NOT contact applicants when insufficient documentation is provided.
Applicants qualified for the applicant pool will remain active for 12 months. Applicants not offered an assignment within the initial 12-month period will be notified by email and will have the opportunity to opt to remain in the applicant pool for an additional 6 months. After 18 months, applicants not offered an assignment will be removed from the pool, without exception, and will need to submit a complete new application, including supporting documents and letters of interest to be re-added to the pool.NOTE: The following items are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to be attached to your application before you can submit it:
