Note : this job posting is for candidates who already possess an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic certification.
FT Starting Pay : $18.22 - $21.25. _ Rate at hire based on prior EMT experience and driver training eligibility.
- Earn an extra $2.00 per hour for weekend shifts (Friday night through Monday morning).
Mohawk is hiring confident EMTs to provide patients with basic life support and transport to medical facilities. EMTs collaborate with other emergency medical personnel to stabilize patients, and to arrange their reception at medical facilities. EMTs must be accountable to their patients, conduct themselves in a professional manner, be positive, and commit to continue their EMS education to become the best provider possible. An EMT is responsible for completing a 2 person crew that will respond to 911 calls for service, provide appropriate patient care, and complete electronic care reports for each incident.
