Video Production Assistant – Work-Based Learning
This role is part of Mohawk Industries Work-Based Learning Program (WBLP) and is only open to qualifying students currently enrolled in High School. The WBLP with Mohawk is designed to allow students the ability to learn, develop and build onto their industry related skills within Marketing Video Department, while completing a High School curriculum.
Students who do NOT need the WBL credit may still apply, but strongly encouraged for those seeking credit in WBL.
Your Role
As a Video Production Assistant, you will assist in creating compelling video content across various platforms, including social media, websites, and marketing campaigns. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in video production, editing, and post-production, while working closely with our experienced video and marketing teams.

Your Role
As a Video Production Assistant, you will assist in creating compelling video content across various platforms, including social media, websites, and marketing campaigns. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in video production, editing, and post-production, while working closely with our experienced video and marketing teams.
Responsibilities
- Assist in shooting and editing video content for various channels (social media, YouTube, website, etc.)
- Edit footage, add music, sound effects, graphics, and other enhancements to create polished final videos
- Organize and manage video files and assets
- Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and tone
- Participate in video shoots (may involve some travel or on-site work, depending on location)
- Assist with other content creation tasks as needed
- Current High School Junior or Senior, at least 16 years old
- Hours and Availability – Flexible
- Strong passion for video production and storytelling
- Proficiency with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
- Familiarity with video production tools (cameras, lighting, microphones, etc.)
- Basic understanding of video composition, color and sound
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A portfolio or demo reel showcasing previous video work is preferred
