Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director Of Maintenance to oversee all maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate must possess a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring that all equipment is maintained to the highest standards. This leadership role requires effective management of the maintenance team, strategic planning for preventative maintenance, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
Duties
- Lead and manage the maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance management program that includes preventative, predictive and corrective management strategies.
- Plans, drives and oversees maintenance system programs to meet state and facility standards.
- Creates and recommends purchasing plans to implement facility policies and objectives and to attain optimum utilization of machinery and materials with overall cost reduction
- Manages and schedules the maintenance team
- Is responsible for the maintenance of the entire facility and equipment including landscaping and snow removal
- Handles obtaining quotes and cost estimates from vendors. Monitors expenditures, reconciles purchases and maintains accurate vendor files.
- Assists in the annual state inspection by providing necessary documentation regarding testing, maintenance logs and repair records.
- Responds to maintenance emergencies at any time
