Job Overview
We are seeking a Per Diem PTA (Physical Therapy Assistant) to join the team at our Long-Term Care Facility in Lafayette/Newton NJ. We are offering competitive compensation and a flexible schedule.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide skilled therapeutic intervention and services under the supervision of a RPT (Physical Therapist)
- Follow all regulations and guidelines of facility including compliance with confidentiality and HIPPA
- Provide documentation of patient's condition
- Provide caregiver/patient education, as appropriate
- Discuss the patient's progress and any concerns regularly with the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Ensure safe treatment practices
- Monitor patient's engagement and responses to treatment--modify as necessary
- Conduct self in a professional manner at all times
Qualifications
- Valid NJ professional license
- Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Prefer experience with rehab optima and skilled nursing facilities
- New graduates are welcome
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to walk, lift, squat, kneel, bend and reach
Salary : $29 - $39
