The position of Food Service Worker II requires a high school diploma or equivalent experience, with a preference for candidates who have completed high school. This role involves assisting patients with meal selections, assembling and delivering meals and food products, and maintaining safe food handling practices using clean as you go procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain safe food handling practices using clean as you go procedures
- Assist patients with any needs related to their tray, such as opening products
- Accurately serve patients in accordance with their diet prescription
- Communicate patient concerns with the clinical dietitian
- Stock unit kitchens
- Perform other duties as required
Work Environment:
This role requires prolonged standing, walking, or other constant physical movements on a routine basis. Varied stress levels due to periodic or cyclic workload pressure may be encountered.
