Job Summary
Join our dedicated team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our Family Medicine Center, where you will provide compassionate care to patients under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. Utilize the nursing process to meet the developmental needs of our patients, adhering to the highest standards of nursing practice and hospital policy.
Core Job Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and collect vital patient data under the supervision of an RN or healthcare provider.
- Evaluate and manage patients' pain, providing education for effective pain management to both patients and their families.
- Monitor patient conditions, recognizing and reporting any adverse changes to the appropriate RN or provider.
- Stay updated on medication knowledge and ensure accurate administration.
- Engage with patients and families in a professional manner, facilitating their involvement in education about health care.
- Properly clean and operate medical equipment as necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and patient care objectives.
Education / Experience Requirements

Current New York State License required.
