We are seeking a motivated Junior Electrical Estimator to contribute to preparing accurate and competitive project estimates.
Job Description
- Interpret project documents, blueprints, and requirements to understand scope and prepare accurate estimates.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure successful project bids through attending bid walks and team meetings.
- Assess production cost factors and prepare detailed material, labor, and cost estimates.
Responsibilities
- Review project documents, drawings, and schedules for scope understanding.
- Manage relationships with vendors and contractors.
- Analyze bids from vendors/contractors for cost evaluations.
- Presentation of estimates to management and tracking actual costs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in electrical estimation.
- High School Diploma (postsecondary electrician training or Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat; experience with Accubid Trimble is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
