Job Description :
As a Remote Pharmacy Technician, you will work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide medication dispensing support, medication therapy management, and customer service in a virtual setting. You will help manage medication orders, ensure accuracy in prescription processing, and provide valuable assistance to patients.
Key Responsibilities :
Accurately process and verify prescriptions in an online pharmacy setting.
Ensure medication safety and compliance with regulations and company policies.
Provide support for medication-related inquiries, including dosage, side effects, and proper usage.
Assist in inventory management and ensure medication stock levels are maintained.
Help manage medication refills and prescription transfers in a timely manner.
Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.
Utilize pharmacy software and tools for data entry, documentation, and communication.
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent (required); Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) is preferred.
Prior experience as a pharmacy technician (minimum 1 year preferred).
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terms, medication classifications, and dosage calculations.
Proficiency with pharmacy software and remote communication tools.
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage time effectively and work independently in a remote environment.
