What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at MOHR Talent?
Ready to level up your accounting career?
We’re looking for a driven, detail-obsessed, and solutions-focused Senior Accountant to join our growing team. If you’re someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves solving complex problems, and wants your work to directly impact the success of a company — this is your role.
You’ll take the reins on all things accounting, own critical processes, and be a key player in building a rock-solid financial foundation as we scale. No two days are exactly the same — and your ideas will actually be heard.
What You’ll Own:
✅ Full-cycle accounting: AP, AR, inventory, accruals, prepaids, and general ledger
✅ Reconciliations: Bank, credit cards, intercompany — accuracy is your jam
✅ Month-end & year-end close: You’ll run it, improve it, and own the deadlines
✅ Financial reporting: Give leadership the numbers they need — with insights that matter
✅ Audit support: Keep us clean and compliant with stellar documentation
✅ Multi-entity management: Work across different business structures like a pro
✅ Efficiency upgrades: Spot inefficiencies and help us do things smarter, not harder
What You Bring:
- A degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor’s preferred)
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in accounting, preferably in a dynamic or high-growth environment
- Mastery of QuickBooks (Desktop Online)
- Good command of GAAP and financial statement prep
- Expert-level Excel and comfortable with Microsoft Office
- Bonus if you’ve used CRMs (Salesforce, HubSpot) or e-commerce tools (Shopify, Amazon, etc.)
- Bill.com or AP automation experience is a plus
- You’re organized, proactive, and can juggle multiple priorities without breaking a sweat
Why You’ll Love It Here:
🌟 High-impact role — your work directly supports leadership decisions
📈 Growth opportunities — we’re scaling, and you’ll grow with us
💬 Your voice matters — we welcome fresh ideas and innovation
🤝 Supportive team environment with people who genuinely want to win together
