Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR professional to lead and oversee all HR functions in our fast-paced food manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader who can align HR initiatives with business goals while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition: Manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and maintain a skilled workforce.
Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, mediate disputes, and ensure a positive workplace culture.
Compliance & Legal: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including OSHA, FSMA, FLSA, and EEO regulations.
Training & Development: Develop and implement employee training programs to enhance skills, productivity, and career growth.
Performance Management: Oversee employee evaluations, goal-setting, and performance improvement plans to drive operational excellence.
Workplace Safety: Collaborate with plant leadership to enforce safety policies and procedures in alignment with industry and regulatory standards.
Payroll & Benefits Administration: Oversee payroll processing, benefits enrollment, and leave management, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
HR Policies & Procedures: Develop, update, and enforce company policies, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
HR Metrics & Reporting: Maintain HR data, generate reports, and analyze trends to improve workforce planning and retention.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree or HR certification preferred).
5 years of HR management experience, preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment.
Strong knowledge of employment laws, labor relations, and HR best practices.
Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and payroll software.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Experience in union and non-union environments is a plus.
