Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR contact for assigned locations, providing guidance on HR policies and best practices.
- Oversee HR functions, including onboarding, offboarding, leave management, and workers' compensation.
- Conduct I-9 audits and ensure accurate documentation per federal guidelines.
- Lead training programs for employees at all levels, including technical and leadership development.
- Administer payroll, benefits, and HRIS systems.
Requirements
- 7 years of HR experience, preferably in food manufacturing/production or a startup environment.
- 2 years of HR management experience overseeing multiple locations.
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Experience with HRIS systems and payroll administration.
- Familiarity with New Jersey labor laws.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) required.
