Job Title : Technical Sales Support Specialist
Location : Troy, IL
Job Summary :
The Technical Sales Support Specialist provides sales support to customers and field sales offices by utilizing technical knowledge of products and their applications. This role involves assisting customers with product selection, installation, calibration, and troubleshooting while maintaining strong communication with sales teams.
Reports to : Technical Sales Support & Product Training Manager
Essential Duties :
Assist customers in selecting the appropriate products, ensuring proper installation, calibration, and minor troubleshooting.
Travel as needed to assess product potential, understand customer needs, and support sales efforts.
Maintain communication with assigned sales territories to provide necessary sales support.
Arrange and conduct meetings with customers at company headquarters.
Present products, systems, and solutions to customers at conferences and events.
Support promotional activities, including trade shows.
Collaborate with marketing personnel to provide feedback for product development and specifications.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements :
Associate’s degree in Electronics required; Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Technology preferred.
Strong technical and diagnostic skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Minimum of 1 years of experience with related products preferred.
