Regional Sales Manager – Western U.S.
We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to join our Manufactures’ Rep division of Mojave Energy Systems, reporting into our Director of Sales. This remote position will be responsible for working with our local Manufacturer’s Rep. partners in the Western U.S. to support channel growth. The compensation package for this role includes a base salary & commission structure.

About the Regional Sales position:
The successful candidate will “get in at the ground floor” of our business to support our newly established manufacturer’s rep channel in a regional fashion. This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of innovation for climate friendly control of latent loads/dehumidification and be part of launching this cutting-edge technology into the market.
Responsibilities:
· Support Manufacturing Rep selection and on-boarding
· Manage and support assigned Manufacturer Reps in day-to-day activities.
· Support assigned Manufacturers Reps to meet their sales targets.
· Collaborate with the sales channel to ensure satisfied customers.
· Act as Mojave’s local “Subject Matter Expert” (SME) in assigned territory.
· Assist with estimates, quoting, equipment selections, submittals as required.
· Perform educational presentations as required (lunch & learns, CEU’s, etc.).
· Assist Manufacturer’s Reps in driving Mojave as the Basis of Design in construction projects.
· Identify product gaps, capture voice of customer, and work with Product Management to prioritize and eliminate identified gaps.
· Work with local utilities to educate them on benefits of Mojave’s products and qualify for rebate incentives.
· Maintain a presence with local chapter organizations including ASHRAE, etc.
· Attend trade shows and events.
· Ability to travel up to 75% of your time
· Manage a pipeline to achieve assigned sales revenue targets.
· Maintenance of your pipeline in CRM software (zoho.com)
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related STEM field.
· 5 years outside sales experience working with and/or selling to engineers, contractors, owners.
· 5 years of sales experience in HVAC industry, well versed in negotiating agreements, excellent customer services, and value propositions.
· Ability to perform psychrometric calculations and equipment selection.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; one-on-one and in groups.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Proven history of rapid sales growth with satisfied customers.
· Knowledgeable about Applied HVAC Equipment (Airside).
· Thorough understanding of marketplace dynamics including industry trends.
· Proven capability to communicate professionally in written and verbal format across a wide audience.
· Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while able to prioritize diverse responsibilities.
· Able to work and communicate with multiple levels of positions within Manufacturer’s Rep. Organizations and Consulting Engineering Firms while building strong relationships and trust.
· Able to work without direct guidance or direction from others.
· Team player with strong collaborative abilities across business units.

The compensation range for this role applies to both employment offers and Mojave employees actively working in the role. Generally, our employment offers fall between the minimum and midpoint of the range to allow for continued salary growth during your employment at Mojave. The upper half of the range accommodates this growth and supports our intention to create an environment that encourages lasting relationships between Mojave and our team members.
Health benefits will be effective the first of each month following the initial hire date.
