We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Traffic Control Setup Specialist to join our team as a 1099 contractor in Phoenix, AZ.

Responsibilities:
- Safely and accurately install traffic control devices, such as signs, cones, barricades, and arrow boards, according to approved Traffic Control Plans (TCP) and state regulations;
- Verify that the setup complies with local, state, and federal safety standards, such as the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), to protect both workers and the public;
- Regularly inspect the site to ensure equipment remains in place and effective throughout the project, making necessary adjustments or repairs as conditions change;
- Collaborate with site supervisors and crew members to ensure efficient and accurate implementation of traffic control plans.
Requirements:
- Local in Phoenix, AZ;
- A valid, unrestricted Driver's License;
- A valid Traffic Control Technician or Flagging certification;
- Ability to lift around 50 pounds and work in extreme weather;
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and local traffic regulations;
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
