Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Ensure that the customer’s daily delivery and quality requirements are met
- First line of contact for the customer for delivery or quality issues
- Work with the team to root cause and implement corrective actions any delivery or quality issues
- Support with any business issues related to MoldTecs and request support of MoldTecs team as needed
- Drive continuous improvement of products and processes
- Drive operational execution of planned goals and strategies, including rapid adjustments as necessary in response to shop floor operational challenges and changing customer demands
- Deploy and apply sustainable lean practices and tools to implement planned process improvements for plant operations
- Ensures that environmental, health, safety and other plant regulations follow internal and external standards, while promoting a safe working culture
- Manage business metrics performance against best practice in the industry and internal peer groups to identify opportunities to improve business results
- Support timely launch of new cells and products
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key account managers and engineering across the business to drive strategic goals
- Responsible for facility operational measurements:
- Employee safety, customer satisfaction, leadership development, and statutory compliance
- Product quality, production efficiencies, product delivery, and financial acumen/target achievement
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or closely related field
- 5 years of proven experience as a Production Manager in the automotive industry
- Experience in IATF quality systems and ISO14000 environmental
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with SAP (Sales related modules)
- Ability to work with and maintain confidential information
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Lean methodology experience
- Good logistic skills
Salary : $95,000 - $105,000
