About the Role :

Mollie Stone’s Markets is looking for a Full-Time Accounts Payable Clerk to be an integral part of its Accounting Department. This position will require a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to multitask and meet daily & various deadlines.

Essential Functions :

Process and compile weekly accounts payable.
Process large volume of daily invoices, credit memos and statements.
Review and reconcile weekly and monthly statements from vendors.
Communicate and follow through with vendors for inquiries, payment and accounts payable issues.
Process and compile transfers of merchandise within the company.
Compile weekly accounts payable related reports to management.
Compile and update accounts payable procedures periodically.
Other accounts payable duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications :

5 years of experience as an Accounting Clerk.

Ability to handle a high volume of invoices and various deadlines on a weekly basis.

Detail-oriented, organized and efficient time management skills.

Proficiency in Excel and Word.

Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus.

Local candidates only.

Ability to manage confidentiality with integrity.

Ability to take initiative and require minimum supervision.

Ability to mentor current and new Accounts Payable team members.

Ability to work under pressure.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with solutions presented to management.

Strong organizational skill with ability to prioritize multi tasks to meet deadlines.

Strong ability to cooperate and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Effective written and oral communication skills.

Physical Requirements :

Must be able to regularly lift at least 10 lbs.

Standing : Up to 2 hours per day

Seating : Up to 8 hours per day.

Walking : Up to 2 hours per day.

Reaching : Up to 2 hours per day

Travel Requirements :

Independent and reliable local travel up to 5% of the time.
