About the role
We are looking to hire a highly motivated People Operations Manager. This role will be critical in keeping our employee function running efficiently and built for continued global scale and growth. Operationalize all People processes, systems/tools and established programs.
What you'll do
- Manage all People Operations systems including the selection and implementation of new tools as well day to day administration of existing systems. Strategically evaluate and recommend tools needed for scale to support global people operations.
- Benefits administration: manage global benefit programs including health, wellness, perks and retirement.
- Manage employee transactions, changes and inquiries for efficiency and timely responses as the company continues growth and scale.
- Own front line employee support both directly and with the help of other People Operations members
- Assist in establishing People team metrics and owns responsibility for the accuracy, reporting and analysis of the data
- Owns compensation data for performance review process, market analysis, compensation changes
- Documentation for the People Operations processes, workflows and maintain current policies
- Manages and may administer leave of absence practices
- Deliver employee engagement, exit and onboarding surveys. Assist in running established People programs as they become operationalized like performance management
- Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all People data and documentation to maintain an accurate employee source of truth
- In partnership build a best in class on-boarding experience for all new hires and off boarding process for team members as they transition off the team. This includes not only design of the process but the proper systems implementation
- Partner with leadership to recommend, research and implement new approaches, policies, procedures and tools with a focus on scaling the organization
- Manage and build vendor relationships
What you'll need to succeed
- 5 years of experience in HR operations, preferably fast growth, global, start-up environments with at least a couple years experience managing.
- Strong data and analytical skills. Expert Excel skill level
- Must be hands-on and also able to pull back and think strategically about the function
- Comfort with a fast paced environment and some amount of organized chaos
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information
- Experience with HR compliance matters
- Knowledgeable with different HR tools
