In the role of a Production Technician I working in Trenton, Ohio you will be part of the Integrated Supply Chain team. The person will be responsible for the packaging, brewing, and/or shipping of beer while continually investigating methods to improve the process, improve customer satisfaction, and produce quality products. Successful candidates will be part of a team performing sanitation tasks, quality checks, and safely running equipment that brews and packages our products.
This position is part of a team-based union environment with 180-day probationary period. You will be in a warehouse environment on a fixed shift, working 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift. Salary starts at $22.33/hr. that increases to $26.85 after successfully completing your probationary period.
This position reports to the Line Lead and works closely with fellow team members.
The Responsibilities:
- Effectively and efficiently operate production equipment throughout each work shift 90% of the time.
- For skills and aptitude, we are looking for candidates with Forklift experience. If no forklift skills are in your background, a willingness to be trained and comfort developing the ability on that equipment would suffice.
- Previous experience in a fast paced, high volume facility is desirable.
- Assist with preventative maintenance tasks i.e., Lube, Sanitation as well as the ability to learn and perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance activities on equipment.
- Ensure the maximum efficiency of the operation while maintaining compliance with established safety, quality, material usage, sanitation, budget, and scheduling guidelines in line with World Class Supply Chain Strategy.
- Possess interpersonal skill to function and communicate effectively within the assigned team.
- Demonstrate impeccable attendance.
- Able to perform frequent physical activity in the form of lifting, pushing, pulling, standing, etc. and capable of frequently lifting and carrying 50 lbs., with ergonomic support.

- You are confident and competent, through in your work making sure to work with a high level of safety and quality focus and take pride in your work.
- You are a skilled communicator who will talk to the team about all matters pertaining to the overall operation and function of the equipment you work on.
- You have a High School diploma; post high school education or technical training is a plus.
- You have experience in a team-based, manufacturing environment, have experience operating forklifts, and operator-based maintenance experience is also desirable.
- You have a flexible schedule and can work full-time on a fixed schedule (1st, 2nd or 3rd)
- You are 21 years of age or older.
