The Headlines:

In the role of Brewery Security Lead for the Albany, GA Brewery you will be the Corporate Security representative for the facility. This position reports to Senior Manager Security Operations & Investigations, and is responsible for security guidance, training, and leadership at the Brewery. 

On occasion this role will also support Corporate Security functions at other locations. These occasional responsibilities will include special event security, investigations, and security support for other Company events. This role provides hands-on training and the opportunity to learn and grow with one of the United States’ oldest brewing companies.

The Responsibilities:

• Manage the contract security guards
• Organize & facilitate security training
• Perform security audits & annual security assessment
• Lead security investigations locally
• Manage the security reporting for the site
• Manage site compliance to CTPAT & chemical security standards
• On-call for emergency response
• Manage the access control & camera systems locally
• Provide troubleshooting and minor repair of systems
• Manage the key control system for the site
• Security representation for site leadership meetings
• Partner with Safety on emergency response planning & training
• Build & maintain relationships with local responders

The Other Qualifications:

• 5 years of leadership in security or security related field
• 10 years of prior law enforcement experience preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Knowledge of patrol techniques, report writing, and investigation techniques
• Skilled communicator with the ability to effectively de-escalate situations and articulate security needs
• CPR / AED certification or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
• Detail oriented, organized, and budget conscious
• Experience in security systems such as access control and CCTV is a plus
• A servant leadership mindset
• Ability to be decisive and disciplined
• Ability to manage outside vendor relationships and deal with conflict appropriately
